Outside each property there is a patio and garden area with table and chairs and also a clothes line. There is plenty of parking space. We do allow dogs (but with restrictions) and there is plenty of scope to exercise them. Pendeen is the next village and has a general store, post office, pubs and cafes. St Just is 4 miles away and has a good selection of small shops and a health centre. Penzance is only 6 miles distant and has the larger shops and supermarkets. There are many good and varied restaurants in the area to suit all tastes! |

Merthyr Farm Cottages are individual properties of traditional granite construction and look out over our farmland towards the sea. They therefore benefit from both sea and rural views and plenty of fresh bracing sea air! 
The cottages are well equipped and comfortable. The 2 bedroomed cottage comprises 1 double room and 1 twin room sleeping 2-4 people. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. Downstairs the living room has a multi fuel stove and night storage heater. There is a separate all-electric kitchen and a dining area. 
The 4 bedroomed cottage has 2 double rooms, a twin bedded room and a 4th bedroom with bunk beds. It can accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children. There is a bathroom and also a separate shower room. The 2nd toilet is situated downstairs in the utility room. The kitchen/diner has new units and there is a walk-in pantry. Background heat is provided by night storage heaters and there is an open fire in the sitting room.
The 3 bedroomed property is a very recent, stylish and spacious conversion of the former village school. It has a double room, a twin bedded room and a further bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds. It can accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children. Please note that the bedrooms are in separate areas of the building. The bathroom is upstairs and the separate shower room downstairs. There is an open plan living room with a galleried landing and a kitchen/diner. The school has oil fired central heating and also a multi fuel stove in the living room.
